This backyard underwent a dramatic transformation, adding both beauty and functionality for this Princeton family. Rather than viewing the slope and change in elevation as a challenge, we used the unique natural landscape to tuck a hot tub into a natural boulder outcropping. The mature oak trees provide a natural canopy for the two tiered bluestone patios. Rhododendrons, hydrangeas, purple veronica, and black-eyed Susans provide pops of color beneath the trees that border a shady lawn area.
